Tobacco Road Rugby Club 2018 Launch

In 2013, a group of friends came together to create the Chapel Hill Warriors Rugby Football Club. Over the last five years, the Warriors have enjoyed a remarkable run of success on the pitch, each year building on the previous season’s accomplishments, culminating in a 7-1 record in the club’s first year in Division 2 rugby. The club has brought together players from all over the state, the country and the world who are committed to playing the game of rugby at a high level while having fun and building friendships that will last long after their time on the field comes to a close.


As the club celebrates the conclusion of its fifth year, it is time to start an exciting new chapter; the Warriors are becoming the Tobacco Road Rugby Club. As the club has grown, so has our geographic footprint, and we are now truly the club of the Triangle, with players hailing from Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh and beyond amongst our ranks.


In celebration of our 5th year of play and our new look and name, the club is raising funds to ensure that our next five years are as successful as the first five. Funds raised will go towards securing the club's future, new sets of home and away jerseys, dues scholarships for players of need, field rentals  and much-needed equipment upgrades.


To celebrate our players, friends, family and supporters who help us on this journey, there are a variety fundraising gifts we'll be thanking you with. Each new level will also enjoy the gifts of the previous level. $25 donations are invited to our 2018 fall season kick-off party and will receive a signed thank you note from the club 


$50 donations will receive a Tobacco Road Rugby Club pint glass and a 2018-2019 club social membership


$100 donations will receive a Tobacco Road Rugby Club t-shirt


$250 donations will receive named recognition on our website, a signed photo of the club and a Tobacco Road Rugby Club polo


$500 donations and above will receive a signed club jersey and special recognition from the club at our 2018 fall season kick-off party
