Lily Bea, just shy of being 3, was complaining of belly aches. Keren and Alex (her incredibly strong parents) took her to the ER never thinking their worst nightmare would become a reality.

Lily has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma stage 4 cancer. They are being treated, loved, and cared for at Sloan Kettering in NYC.  While lucky to be close to the best doctors and team in the world at Sloan, their life is upside down and have baby  Anna to tend to. The Keyzner clan is positive & optimistic as anyone who knows them can tell you. They are truly a picture-perfect family. However, this devastating news makes it nearly impossible to keep your head up. To watch your baby girl get weekly chemo, suppress the painful side effects and deal with the unknown...daily. From caring for an infant, staying positive for Lily, bills, potential donor and treatment needed, we need to step up to keep the Keyzner spirits up.

This is where you come in. You're here because you want to help. Keren and Alex want prayers. They want they're baby girl to beat this nasty C word and rid it from her beautiful body and soul. How you can help? Right here. Donate to the bravest, strongest, kindest, cutest, fighter in the world. Help the Keyzners get back to the playground. Get back to birthday parties. Get back to a family of 4 watching Daniel Tiger, being silly, and enjoying every day as a growing healthy family.

All money will be sent to the Keyzner family to help cover the day-to-day costs associated with Lily's fight (medical bills, hospital stays, etc.)

To Lily, With Love ❤️

Lily was diagnosed with neuroblastoma on the evening of September 16, 2018, at 2.5 years of age.

Neuroblastoma is a rare cancer that develops in the sympathetic nervous system, which controls body functions such as heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, and levels of certain hormones. The disease forms as solid tumors, most often in the tissues of the adrenal gland, however it may also appear in the abdomen, neck, chest, or pelvis. Neuroblastoma can spread to the lymph nodes, liver, bones and bone marrow.

Neuroblastoma is extremely rare, with only about 700 new cases diagnosed every year in the United States.

Lily was diagnosed as the result of a trip to the emergency room at NYP-Cornell for prolonged stomach pain and general discomfort. A CT scan was ordered as doctors immediately suspected neuroblastoma. Lily was admitted to the hospital and was transferred the next morning to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Within hours she was scheduled for a surgery that placed the port through which she would receive her chemotherapy and the biopsy which would confirm the diagnosis of neuroblastoma. Lily was in the intensive care unit at MSKCC for several weeks. Lily quickly started an intensive chemotherapy regimen and has already received three rounds of chemotherapy. She is at the hospital nearly every single day. There have been procedures to harvest her own stem cells, an endless stream of oral medication and injections all of which leads Lily to a complicated surgery and more chemotherapy over the next few weeks. It is an understatement to say that all of this has taken a toll on her 2.5 year old body. She has started to engage in some therapies that will help her recover developmental skills that have regressed due to her intense treatment protocol.
