Top Notch Equestrian High School and Middle School teams, currently comprised of 13 boys and girls, is a part of the Interscholastic Equestrian Asociation who's mission is to introduce students in private and public middle and secondary schools to equestrian sports and to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction.
During the competition year we compete against over 40 teams in our region (PA, NJ, NY, CT) in hopes to gain enough points to quailfy for Regional, Zone and National Finals.  This year BOTH our High School and Middle School teams have qualified for Regional Finals!  However, the cost of travel, entry fees and lodging to this event are extremely high, over $3,000. Hopefully our teams qualify to continue on to Zone finals held at the Buffalo Equestrian Center in Buffalo, NY on March 24-26 which will also require entry, travel and stay expenses.  We are hoping our friends and family would join us in our effort to fundraise money for our Regional Finals expenses on March 4-5 at Ketchman Farms in NJ.
We thank you in advance for your support and consideration in helping us accomplish our fundraising goals!

If you were to ask me what my goals were for this team when we started back in October I would have told you it was to qualify at least one rider for Regionals. I figured it was a good goal being a first time team with 13 kids of which half of them I had never taught before or even seen ride. Some I didn't know at all and some rode at a completely different barn. My sister Brittany and I only wanted to create a family of riders for "kids like us" who could get extra ride time, get show ring experience on a budget and do it while making life long friendships and forming a strong support system or "family". The true meaning of the word Team in my book. I have to say that these group of riders faced every challenge, every fall, every bad draw, every no stirrups lesson as a stepping stone to getting better and stronger. Nothing kept these kids down and It was my pleasure to give them the tools to do whatever they wanted and go as far as they could go with their riding. Out of 13 kids spread out over 2 teams we had 10 qualify individually for regionals. We also had BOTH the middle school and high school teams qualify for regionals! They far surpassed my goals for them and this weekend was just going to be the icing on the cake. Well these kids proved to themselves and also to us that goals are only there to be passed. We just added a layer to the cake because BOTH teams rode their very best and qualified for Zone finals! You read that right. BOTH TEAMS QUALIFIED! Someone pinch me. As a coach it has been an incredible experience working with such hard working and dedicated kids. They have made me so proud and these riders have inspired me far more than I could have ever expected to inspire them. So here we go team - ON TO BUFFALO! You have already made us proud so go out there and ride your hearts out because no one can hold you down!
