Support for Officer Jerrid Lee's Family

On January 28th, 2019 officer Jerrid Lee was tragically killed in a head on collision.  The man behind the SUV that struck Jerrid was believed to be under the influence- something that Officer Lee strived to combat during his time with the Clearcreek Township Police. At just 27 years old, he had already served in the air force with tours spent in both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Jerrid was not only a well respected officer and Airforce Veteran, but a loving husband and father. He leaves behind his wife, Katie, and two young children. Katie has also dedicated her life work to serving those in need as a registered nurse at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She even recently made the decision to return to school to obtain her masters degree in nursing while continuing to work full time. Jerrid and Katie both committed their lives to helping others- even choosing to foster and adopt their two children .Now more than ever, the Lee family could use the returned support of their community.  No one could prepare themselves for such a tragedy. Whether it be to pay bills or tuition in order to allow Katie to continue her masters program, we wish to do everything possible to eliminate the stress of finances and expenses. Many of Katie's co-workers have generously contributed vacation days as well as monetary donations to ensure that she is given the time off that she needs, but we wanted to give others in the community the same opportunity to support her and her family as well. All donations will be directly given to Katie Lee and her children. We are extremely grateful for any contributions that can be made!
