TLC Discretionary Fund

Toast Love Coffee C.I.C (Community Interest Company) is  a community cafe in Harehills, Leeds, that is a safe and welcoming space for all. 

We pride ourselves on the fact that two people chatting over coffee may be from completely different backgrounds, religions, attitudes towards life, political opinions, class. At our cafe, we learn from each other, enjoy each others' company, and build network and community. 

Inspired by two of our regular volunteers, who we have since discovered are living within the tightest of budgets, we have set up a TLC Discretionary Fund to allow us to, discreetly, give cash to those in our community most in financial need, 

These are people who have slipped through the net and due to circumstances absolutely beyond their control, are really really struggling. Right now. Today. In Leeds. In our community.
