TYRELL JAYLON WALASKI

Tyrell Jaylon Walaski was born December 20, 1997 in Newport, RI. He was raised in Newport his entire life until enlisting in the military at the age of 17 to become a Marine.

Tyrell lived a positive purpose driven life and in many ways was mature beyond his years. He was highly intelligent as a child with strong comprehension and inquisitiveness. He was raised, and his life was lived, with moral strength, good values and principles.

Since a young child Tyrell always expressed a strong passion for the military. While attending Roger's High School he joined the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program where he would excel.

In 2013 while in JROTC together, Tyrell would meet his future wife Celeste Zimmerman and a bond would form. They would go on to marry on December 24, 2015 and would often share the phrase, “Forever and always. No matter what.” with each other.

Before graduating Roger's in June 2015, Tyrell enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in January 2015 and entered Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina on July 20, 2015. Tyrell graduated from Parris Island as a "The few. The proud." Marine in the United States Marine Corps on October 23, 2015 from Golf Company, Second Recruit Training Battalion.

On November 4, 2015, Tyrell attended Marine Combat Training aboard the School of Infantry, Camp Geiger, North Carolina. Upon completion of training, Tyrell reported to Marine Corps Communications Electronics School aboard Marine Corps Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California.

While at Twentynine Palms he would receive the Iron Mike award, given to a Marine who achieves perfect scores on the Physical Fitness Test and Combat Fitness Test. With steady high scores and achievements Tyrell would accelerate his rank and rise to Lance Corporal. After completion of his training and graduating number two in his company, Tyrell was assigned the Military Occupational Specialty of Cyber Network Operator and officially became a newly titled Cyber Marine.

Tyrell reported to Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28 on June 11, 2016 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Cherry Point, North Carolina, where he immediately excelled as a member of the Spartan family and Bravo Data Platoon. Being a Marine was monument to Tyrell and would develop his interest in martial arts and health and fitness. Tyrell performed at such a high level in Physical Training that a new physical training program was created specifically for him to lead to enhance Marine physical fitness.

Later in life Tyrell would develop a passion for motorbikes and riding. He passed at the age of 18 while doing something he loved to do, riding a motorbike.
