Jay Grilli Medical Fund

This funding effort is in place for my good friend Jay Grilli, who, as many of you know, has been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

My name is Jack and I am a friend of Jay for many years, and have experienced firsthand, his gregarious nature and always being there for anyone needing help or a kind word.  We all know this: he is a giver.  Which is why he has asked me to compose this effort.  He simply doesn’t know how to ask for help.

This is his time.  This is our time.  This is our time to reach out with financial support to a genuinely good man, in his biggest time of need.

For those of you who don’t know Jay on Facebook I am including a synopsis of his posting of December 31 2015 as follows:

After undergoing 3 procedures and six weeks of Chemo after a February 2015 Bladder Cancer diagnosis, I was hospitalized for two weeks (last 2 weeks of Dec.) to find out my cancer, previously thought to have been cleaned out, has escaped the Bladder wall and spread to other areas of my body.  “I am dealing with a ton of emotions blindsiding me from everywhere and want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the love and support you have shown me……each and every one of you has made me feel special, loved, and less alone than is really the case.  For this I would like to express my extreme Gratitude.  I wish only the best for all of you folks as you have become very special to me…..Here is to a great 2016 and one hell of a fight in the ensuing months”
