If you know “Tina”, you know that she is one of the most loving and giving people you will ever meet. She is a person that loves working and caring for others, always putting others before herself.
In April, Tina had a routine medical procedure that was intended to reduce pain she was experiencing due to spinal issues. Due to a rare complication, Tina ultimately had a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The initial symptoms were so severe she was unable to use her right leg at all and her right arm and hand were extremely limited. She was discharged from the hospital to MMRC initially for rehab and within on two days was sent back to the ER due to a spinal leak. After over month in rehab she was allowed to go home. She now is receiving intense physical therapy 2 hours a day 2-3 days a week. She is progressing, however no one can predict when she will be 100%. She has been told 3 months to 2 years.
I have worked with Tina. I have seen her care for her patients. I have seen her rarely sit down in a 12 hour shift, and she LOVES ❤️ her work. Her main desire is to return to work. As we sat talking earlier this week, she was tearing up as she discussed the possibility of never being able to do her job again.
She would never ask for help herself. This is why I have started this gofund me account. She has mounting medical bills. She is unable to work and has run out of personal paid sick time. She has to pay to keep her insurance so that she can continue rehabilitation. When I asked her what I could do, she said she just needs prayers. Well I can do that! But I know we can do more. I know she doesn’t worry about herself, but she is a great mother and wife and that weighs heavily on her mind.
