Timmy needs a heart

Timmy has been feeling really unwell for over the past month. The Creston Hospital found fluid in Timmy's abdomen and scheduled him for a scan in Cranbrook. His mother Erin was feeling uneasy and drove Timmy to the Cranbrook hospital in the very early hours of April 11th.
Once Timmy arrived in Cranbrook the Doctors found that his heart was enlarged and immediately tried to stabilize his heart, so he could be transported to the Vancouver Children's Hospital. Over the weekend the Doctors were trying to diagnose and stabilize Timmy's heart. Although there is no clear understanding of what is going on Timmy's heart is swollen and not functioning properly.
Yesterday April, 16th Timmy's heart stopped and needed to be resuscitated. It has been determined that the only option for Timmy now is a Heart Transplant. This came as a huge shock and crushing blow to Timmy's parents and loved ones. Timmy will require ongoing long term care. At the moment that is no time line for Timmy's Heart Transplant, but his parents have been told to brace themselves for months.
In the mean time we are hoping to raise enough money in order to cover Jeff and Erin's time away from work as they are by Timmy's side.
