It’s hard to believe we are here again. Over and over again people are fighting battles against this horrible disease. I have one thing to say and it’s not very nice. F#@K CANCER.
You might know Timmy from school, from being a friendly face at Carl’s diner or from soccer. He’s the kind of guy you want to be around. He’s thoughtful, he’s caring, he’s just a good guy.
Timmy has been fighting a battle, a hell of a battle. In January he was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer. He’s 39 years old. He started an intensive chemo program undergoing 6 rounds in just 3 months. 6 rounds of chemo sickness and the tumor didn’t shrink. Did I mention I hate cancer?
Since starting his treatment he hasn’t been able to work. Timmy has done so much for others, he’s just that kind of guy. He held our hands through Carter’s battle with cancer, always the first to see how he could help. Now it’s our turn to reach out and help him.
Our friends, our family, our community have been asking “how can I help?” which also tells you what kind of guy Timmy is. To make things easier we set up this GoFundMe page. Hopefully raising some money can relieve some of the financial burden adding up and he can put his focus where it needs to be, healing and beating this horrible disease.
There will be a fund-raising day in his honor Sunday, July 14 from 6am – 2pm at Carl’s diner in his honor.
