TIME TO CARE GLOBAL MISSIONS

On July 6, 2017, Rock Generation Christian Fellowship will send a 27-member Missions Team to the province of Cebu, Philippines. The team will be led by Pastor Anton Yumang and his wife, Irene Masangkay Yumang.
It is going to be a two-week immersive missions work in coordination with the local pastors in the area.
We will bring our team to support small churches and aide them in reaching their communities with the gospel of Christ. These are among the poorest of the poor, the marginalized and those forgotten by the local government agencies.
We will also work with existing local charities which includes feeding programs for children and providing groceries and basic necessities to families in need. We are very excited for this opportunity, not only because we are able to help and make a difference in another person's life, but we know that this trip will deeply impact us personally.
Our local church here in Vancouver, Canada is Rock Generation Christian Fellowship. It is a duly registered charitable organization with Canada Revenue Agency.
The missions team is mostly made of young adults and youth. It is our belief that loving the least mirrors loving God. It is our God-given mandate to make the lives of others better by sharing hope through the gospel and sharing help by meeting people's basic needs such as food and clothing.
If you cannot go, send. That has been Pastor Anton’s constant reminder to the group. It is our belief knowing full well that God rewards both the sender and those that do missions.
We need your assistance. A mission trip like this cannot happen without the help and involvement of many people. We are asking you to consider how you might support us as we pursue what we know God is leading us to do. There are areas of need: prayer and finances. We need prayers for safety for our team and for us to be obedient and sensitive to God's leading.
You can help financially by contributing to help offset the costs of the trip and supplies.
