Tim Camenisch needs your help - NF 1 rare cancer

Donation protected
Tim, my wonderful brother-in-law, needs your help to spread the word about his new medical diagnosis and to ask you for your prayers and support during this difficult time for his family.

An absolutely amazing man, Tim has the most fun loving, humorous and warmhearted personality.  His kindness and generosity come from a big and caring heart. Literally, Tim would do anything for anyone.

As you might imagine, his loving wife and two children are devastated about Tim’s new diagnosis of cancer.

Tim has had many health issues the past twelve years. Starting in August 2007 Tim was diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia which required strong chemotherapy and radiation treatments. He received these daily for two years and took a huge toll on his body. Then in 2009 as a result of the cancer treatments he had hip replacement surgery. Throughout the years Tim has also had other procedures including a hernia correction, a gallbladder removal, and a bladder stretching treatment. More recently, in December 2017 Tim suffered a 50 minute Grand Mal Seizure which left him with memory problems, walking and balance issues.

This past May his wife took Tim to the doctor due to him having breathing problems. They found out his lung was full of fluid and with further testing they were told that Tim had terminal cancer; stage 4 Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor. This type of cancer is extremely rare.

Tim was born with a disease called Neurofibromamatisis (NF- Type 1) which causes fibromas to develop on the outside of the body. These fibromas hardly ever turn cancerous, but unfortunately Tim’s did. This cancer travels through the blood stream to the spin and then travels to the lungs. Tim was told he had only three to six months to live, but that Chemotherapy treatments could potentially extend his life another six months.

This family really needs your help. Now that he has this cancer diagnosis, they are now responsible for 20% of all of Tim's medical bills and cannot get any supplemental insurance from any company. In addition, his wife is unable to work because he needs 24/7 care.

If anyone can help out in anyway, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your prayers, kindness, and generosity (no matter how small).

Thanks again and God Bless You!!!

Please forward to your family and friends. Thanks!
