My name is Judy Reed and I'm a volunteer at and a friend of Tijuana Christian Mission. They asked me to create this page with the following message:
After 52 years of housing thousands of children, taking care of their spiritual, physical, medical emotional and academic needs we are required to apply for an operating license. This is a new law for children’s homes in our state. In order to have our operating license, the deadline to complete all repairs and paperwork is December 30, 2016. That is less than three months away!
The expenses will include buying 2 sets of double doors with push bars, replacing about twelve windows, purchasing fourteen bunk beds, as well as about five thousand dollars that will go towards electric rewiring, new boilers, more staff, doctor visits 3 times a week in both sites, etc. We are hoping to raise twenty-five thousand dollars. Donations throughout this past year and a half have taken us very far in the process, but we still need more. We trust God will carry our burdens and we hope you can be part of this emergency need.
