Hey Everyone!
My name is Peter Anthony and I'm raising money for my YWAM Queenstown NZ ski/snowboard DTS (Discipleship training school) from July 1st - December 7th 2018.
This mission trip focuses on discipleship training, action sports outreach and growing intimacy with god. There's a bunch of activities to challenge and strengthen my relationship with God and with others, such as classroom teaching, small groups, one-on-one mentoring, worship and intercession times, study time, community & base work duties, missions and outreach activities, as well as interaction with the local church and community.
The DTS is 5 months total, three months of schooling and training in Queenstown New Zealand then two months of sharing the tools we've learned in regions from New Zealand into Australia, the Pacific Islands, and out toward Southeast Asia!
I'm super excited for this life changing journey and more than ready for this leap of faith. The motto for YWAM is know god and make him known, my intention is build myself up on solid ground and to be rooted in the creator on a deeper level. I want to come back changed and equipped for whatever else god has for me!
So far I've raised $1,024 from friends and family and have also paid for the plane ticket ($1,140). The total cost for the whole trip is $7,000 which includes everything needed (food, transportation, housing etc). I have been hosting art shows for fundraising and have an Etsy account (AnthonyArtsDesigns) which supports the trip as well!
