In Loving Memory of Melissa Wong
It is with our deepest sorrow to inform you of the passing of Melissa Wong. On July 21, 2016, our beloved Melissa passed away peacefully, leaving behind her parents, Vivian and Richard, and her younger brother, Nicholas. Melissa was a graduate of Syosset High School and an alumna of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She worked as a program coordinator at the Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University.
Even though her time was short, she has touched many lives. During her years at UMass, she found a sisterhood in the Kappa Phi Lambda sorority, a home away from home. She is remembered to be caring by many sisters, as well as by many children with autism under her care when she worked at the New England Center for Children. She is also remembered to be bubbly, hardworking, thoughtful, and creative by many friends and family.
This page is for optional donation to the Wong family. The family may donate some or all to an organization that supports individuals who are struggling with depression.
Please respect the family’s privacy during their time of need. We have loved her in life, let us not forget her after death. Please continue to keep Melissa in your thoughts as she was.
