So there comes a time when you just have to take a deep breath and a leap of faith into the unknown in order to follow and find your dreams. As most of you know, I took that plunge back in 2016 when I left my job to pursue my dreams in film, fashion, and teaching on Youtube.
Upon leaving my job, I made a promise to myself to not hold back and to keep going no matter how hard it may be. I cannot believe that to this day, exactly one year later, I am witnessing what 365 days of hard work and determination can truly do. I never imagined in my wildest dreams to have such incredible growth in my network and to have received so much support by just being myself and remaining driven. You all truly make me feel like I can do anything. My dreams are so real thanks to you all!
This year, I would like to take my creativity and films a step further. I would like to create more intricate and detailed short films for my Youtube channel that focus on women and storytelling with the themes of self-care, self-confidence, and self-awareness. These films will serve as introductions to my fashion lookbooks and tutorials. With this support, I would be able to finally get the camera of my dreams along with the lenses and equipment I need to make these films. I had saved up for everything but do to financial circumstances, I needed to take care of my family first. So I want to try again but this time with some help and support.
This will be an ongoing campaign with no deadline. I know that in time, I will be able to make this all happen. I truly appreciate any support I can get from you all whether that be through sharing this platform, donating, or just watching my videos! I am always thankful and love y'all!
