Thomas-Olk Family & Business Woolsey Fire Relief

Dear friends and Malibu Family, like so many of us in Southern California we have been heavily impacted by the recent Wildfires. My grandparents started our family party rental business 30 years ago to service the Malibu community and its surrounding areas. My parents have been working hard at running the business for the last 20 years. They have put their heart and soul into this community to help the people of Malibu. Our company while still small, has grown a lot since it was first started. My family was affected both at our home on Point Dume and at our property up Encinal Canyon where Malibu Party Rents is based. We have lost almost all of our party rental equipment and lost most of our personal property at our house. We are grateful that our family is safe, and we are saddened by tragedy the whole Malibu community has faced. We love the beauty of this land, and the deep compassion the people of this city share with one another. We would like to thank the Firefighters and emergency services that have risked their lives to help protect this city. We also would like to thank all the volunteers that have been serving this city during this tragic event. My family's company has a long road ahead to recover from the devastation of this fire. There is a lot of rental equipment we have to replace, and unfortunately, we will not be able to serve our loyal customers for Thanksgiving. My family has to get replacement equipment for everything that we lost in the fire. We are asking for help to get the funds to get the equipment as soon as possible. We also ask for patience from our customers, and we hope to soon be able to service everyone for their parties, weddings and holidays. Thank you.
