This is LEIGH we're talking about!

I'm pretty angry. I know someone who works her butt off and loves her community and her rescue dog and the customers at the beautiful vegan cafe where she works. This woman forks over fat health insurance checks every month without fail. This woman had an accident, ruining her back, and is suffering great pain as a result. Wouldn't you know it: she's got the kind of job you need a good back for. So she'd like to heal, dammit. But guess what healing means? HUGE out-of-pocket payments, despite those fat insurance checks. 

So yeah, I'm pissed. We should live in the kind of country where Leigh--because that's who I'm talking about, wonderful Leigh--can work without suffering. But we don't live in that country (YET). So I'm asking folks to help her, people who know what a shining light she is and people who have been in this situation and Get It.

Do you have five bucks for a good person's back? Do you have $50? $500? Well come on then! Every dollar puts Leigh closer to a damn MRI and some treatment.

Leigh would like to get the imaging soon because every day she works is a day in pain--believe me, I've seen it--and potentially a day of making things worse. So I'm hoping that we can get some funds to her before August ends. Thanks for reading and considering!
