This Girls Got Guts!

Tax deductible
Hi everyone! My name is Jess. I am one of 1.3 million people in the USA who suffers from IBD. My particular disease is called Pancolitis which is an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation, bleeding, and ulceration throughout the entire large intestine. IBD also causes many other medical problems and is by no means just a “bathroom disease”. There is currently no cure for Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s Disease. On November 28, 2017 I had a major surgery to remove my entire large intestine and rectum, resulting in a temporary ileostomy. Since surgery I have had many ups and downs but am overall recovering well. I will be running the “Kickin’ Crohn’s & Colitis 5K” on July 29th as a celebration of my recovery. It would mean the world to me to also make a donation to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America to help spread awareness and fund research that will hopefully one day lead to a cure for this debilitating disease. Please consider making a donation even the smallest amount helps.
