This dog deserves a better life ..

Please help me help this poor dog. I am a tech so have the ability for all after care but the dog needs surgery to remove a metal choke collar that is embedded and grown over on his neck. He showed up at our home this morning as animals do with us. But the funds for this will be way beyond what we can afford on our own. We will give him a loving home on our fenced three acres if we can save him. It is so sad to think of euthanizing the dog after he has suffered so much pain in his life. He was dragging a huge chain and metal rope behind him when we found him. The humane society said they will only come to euthanize him. They will not do surgery. My vet will hit I am estimating it will be at least $3000 just for the surgery. If by chance there is any money that is extra I will use it for after care and then donate to the local rescue group here. Please help. We have 8 dogs already that get excellent care so this financial cost for the surgery will be over what we can afford
