SYNOPSIS
Flying since the age of 9, Ellie, sponsored by Virgin Galactic, lives in the small town of Torrington, set in the midst of rolling, unspoilt green countryside. Narrated by Ellie, this will be an emotive and inspiring exploration of her passion for flight whilst taking a peek behind the curtains of her future; becoming a professional stunt pilot.
ARTISTIC APPROACH
Stunning, stylistic cinematography with a soundtrack by Audiomachine (The Revenant, Avatar, Prometheus), I visualise an innocent, yet captivating story and a tremendously unique piece of cinema. A story that will stand out from conventional documentary, taking the viewer on a fantasy esque journey making them feel something from the outset.
A fantastic expedition of awe inspiring wide shots of Ellie marching through miles of greenery, to extremely crisp, emotive pictures with shallow depth of field. This, with monumental aerial footage, an emotionally absorbing soundtrack, and minimal narration, allowing the story to unfold naturally on screen will be a massively powerful way to tell this story.
DISTRIBUTION
Following the success of my previous short ‘Panthers’, I will endeavour to reach greater heights with this release. Besides social media sites, this film will see a large range of global, film festival submissions including world-renowned Sundance and Cannes. 
Other lines of distribution include Filmaka which contains a jury of industry professionals including Colin Firth, and Short Of The Week; an online short film channel which has over 100k followers on Facebook and Twitter.
IMPACT
Funding has a huge impact on the final outcome of any product. In this case, with the extra crew, equipment, time, and proposed music licenses, we can produce the initial visualised image; a stunning, beautifully and stylistically created piece of storytelling with the ability to capture imaginations and inspire people to pursue their own dreams.
MEET THE TEAM
- ELLIE CARTER -
Ellie, from Great Torrington, Devon, has had a massive interest in aviation since she was a toddler, and has been flying since age nine.
After being invited to fly with the US Air Force, she started buying flying lessons using saved up pocket money. She’s now sponsored by Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic programme. 
Having made her first solo flight on her 14th birthday, Ellie continues to fly at least once a week and has taken the controls of 12 different aircraft - including a WWII L4 Grasshopper.
Schoolgirl and inventor, Ellie looks to the future where her ambition is to become a stunt pilot.
- JAKE CAUTY - Director -
A filmmaker with 10 years experience in the industry. Being introduced into filmmaking by his father from a young age, Jake gained his first contract in 2008 where he worked on a documentary series for ITV. He then travelled the world editing on a global sailing series for Sky Sports, CNBC, Euro Sports and Fox Sports.

Following this, he worked on numerous projects across many different roles, including editing for Disney and Mercedes, and directing for West Ham United Football Club.
Mostly recently, Jake has produced, directed, shot and edited his debut short film, Panthers, which has taken the ice hockey scene and film festivals by storm.
- ARTHUR CAUTY - Cinematography
Working across film, documentary, broadcast & stage, Arthur has worked with the likes of British funny man and political activist Russell brand, World record breaking pop duo The Pet Shop Boys, the wrestlers of WWE, Miami’s World Symphony Orchestra and international brands such as BMW, Mazda and Electronic Arts, with credits on programming for Sky, CNBC, Channel 4 and Eurosport.

As a stock footage artist with Getty Images, Arthur has provided film & video content for Warner Bros, NBC Universal, Fox, Disney, Sony and the NFL.
- JOSH TARR - Cinematography -
With more than 10 years experience in film production, Josh has a huge range of skills as a cameraman and sound recordist through a variety of film styles from BBC's Springwatch to local events, film sets and documentaries.

Offering bespoke photographic and film services, with over 20 years experience working as professional Photographers and Film makers, The Really Good Media Company was founded by Jack Gorman and Jack Kirby.
