We have a dream of creating a world where there are no boundaries or discrimination against people with disabilities. We have a dream of creating an Unbounded Space that works towards full integration between disabled and non-disabled persons, where people with disabilities can reach their full potential.
Our mission is to provide skills-development and employment opportunities, services for disabled persons, and a comfortable and attractive environment where members of the public can enjoy a positive, home-like, learning atmosphere, participate in activities and entertainment. Unbounded Space is based on a social enterprise model that will aim to fund its activities and services through its own business.
With the money raised, we will be able to provide soft-skills and technical training for people with disabilities so they can be able to deliver quality services at the Bed and Breakfast. Unbounded Space, support new trainees, and develop activities and services for people with disabilities in the hospitality and tourism sectors. The aim is that the number of people with disabilities who benefit will continue to increase.
Our goal is to have the funds raised in March - May 2017. These funds are very critical in the first stage of the project and at in the later phases Unbounded Space intends to be self-sustainable with a variety of activities around Vietnam.
The location of Unbounded Space Bed and Breakfast will be at An Bang beach, about five kilometres from Hoi An town in central Vietnam. According to Vietnam’s National Administration of Tourism, An Bang has been rated among two of the best beaches in Vietnam and one of the top 50 beaches in the world as selected by CNN. Unbounded Space will use this initiative to cooperate with different hotels and hostels in the area and provide them well-trained staff who are disabled. Additionally, events and activities such as dark events, dining in the dark, and draw by heart will be provided to build a true connection between people with disabilities and people without disabilities.
