Therapeutic Neuro Lenses for Matthew

Matthew Gioia was the victim of a mob action attack in 2002. He was hit in the back of the head, where the two optic nerves meet, then kicked in the head repeatedly. He had three brain surgeries, suffered two hematomas, which caused an aneurysm, and a small stroke. He is a miracle to be alive. He now has no short-term memory and suffers severe migraines. We want to help him with those headaches.
We only ask to raise money for the neuro-optometric rehabilitation; which includes the doctor visits, the testing, and the lenses. This medical procedure is not covered by insurance or aid.  
All we ask is to help Matthew's quality of life by having a chance to lessen the migraines and help his brain with this treatment.
