Friends and family - as some of you know, and most of you don’t - my sister Thera was in an unfortunate motor vehicle accident on Sunday 9/16/18 that almost cost her life. While her condition is currently stable, and slowly improving - she has suffered multiple life altering injuries. Including: mandibular separation, spinal fractures, multiple pelvic and rib fractures; bruising and lacerations, along with spleen and lung trauma. Luckily, she is being treated/cared for at Colorado’s leading trauma center (Denver Health).
She is currently on a ventilator to help support her breathing, and has several upcoming surgeries; the first being this afternoon. This will be a LONG road of recovery, and I am trying my best to support her every need - emotional, mental, physical! I have taken time away from my own children and daily life to tend to her, and would very much like to start a small fund for her to use during her healing process/help with medical expenses.
