Happy Holidays Everyone!
I own The Poke Hut food truck proudly serving the great inhabitants of Orange County. I have been doing this for a little over a year and have enjoyed the challenge of running my own business. I regularly work 16+ hours days 5-6 days a week and can smile knowing that I control every aspect of the business from beginning to end.
Unfortunately, times have been hard. I recently experienced a engine block failure and have been seriously struggling to keep the truck rolling. Like many of you, all I want to do is make an honest living and take care of the people that matter the most to me. For the past year, I have picked one random charity every month and have worked in support of that charity through the truck. With the truck's engine problems, reality has started to hit that I might not be able to continue working or doing these things without some help.
I know the holidays are here and times are hard for everyone. There are probably much more meaningful things to do with your own money but I'm here asking for your help if you can afford to do so. All I'm asking is for some help with the labor costs to replace the new engine and I'll figure out a way to cover the actual cost of the unit itself. I know my dream isn't your dream but every pursuit of happiness starts somewhere and I'm sincerely asking you to donate what you can to help keep my dream running.
