Hello, we’re The North Country from Washington, DC.
Will you help us make The Garden a reality?
We’re big believers in the idea that context shapes the music we love -- both in how we create it as artists, and how our audience perceives the music. We’re all functions of our environments.
Rock clubs are great, but it’s a room meant to accommodate a wide variety of music. Oftentimes subtleties can get lost in the din of a busy bar, or when images on large screen TVs fight for the audience’s attention.
So we thought, what would happen if we were to build an environment specifically for the music we were making? An environment designed to compliment the music instead of conflict.
And so we arrived at The Garden.
The Garden is an immersive art experience, built specifically as a visual accompaniment to a one time only live musical performance. What a score is to a film, the garden is to this North Country show.
As the band pulses, so does the garden. The music and the space become one and the audience is at the center of it all.
But we need you. We’re asking you to donate anything you can to help the North Country make the Garden come to life. With your support, we'll perform and record this visual album in which music transforms a room.
We've got a venue booked, a team on board to build the Garden, videographers at the ready - now we're asking our incredible fans to help us make this crazy idea a reality on Friday, February 10.
For centuries artists have turned to benefactors, will you be ours?
