As many of our friends already know, we at The Market Theatre Company recently announced plans for our second season. We have an amazing year lined up for 2017 – a season that is electrifying, sensitive, complex, and ambitious, with something for everyone. We cannot wait to charge into our second year, but we will need help from YOU, our community, to continue fulfilling our mission of bringing quality arts to Anderson!
There are so many ways you can help us reach our goal:

But of course, the biggest way you can support The Market is by becoming a sponsor! Donating online is quick and convenient, and you can receive perks like the t-shirts, season tickets, and ads we mentioned above. All of our supporters will be acknowledged in our season programs and on our website. The Market Theatre Company is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 to bring this season to life, and we’re ALREADY almost halfway there! Help us keep this momentum going!
With all of the awesome things that happened for The Market in 2016, it will be hard to top it in year 2, but we have big plans to do just that! Next year, we will continue bringing special events to the community. Piggly Giggly, our very own in-house improv team, will be back with more comedy shows throughout the year. We are also working on a new concert series with a special partnership with Growler Haus to bring new musical acts and audiences to our space. We will create even more educational opportunities and workshops, including another summer camp in the footsteps of our sold-out 2016 camp. Of course, we will also bring another mainstage season to life, with 5 plays and musicals. On top of that, we’re excited to announce our brand-new Fringe Series of smaller, more intimate and unique plays. The Fringe series will bring even more opportunities for directors and actors to explore their art and tell unique stories.
Plus, with as much work as we’ve put into our Arts Center venue in the past year, we are excited to do even more to update our venue, lights, and sound, to make each of our shows even better. One of our most ambitious goals is to purchase our own wireless microphones – a huge but worthy investment!
