Hello,
My name is Garry Anderson and along with my mate David Dunbar we are going on a fundraising drive around Australia,
We are raising money for grassroots sports in Whyalla with all funds going back into junior sporting associations. All costs associated with the trip will be covered by Garry and David to make sure any money fundraised goes straight to the kids.
We plan to drive a full lap of Australia following highway 1. This is approx 15000km. The plan is to complete this jouney in 15days. The car we have is an old xf falcon station wagon. The journey will begin on November 10th and we will being heading west first.
We are looking for donations from both individuals and from companies. Any company that donates and wants to send us a sticker we will place these onto the car.
We also have a facebook page set up where you can follow our progress from now up to the journey, and while we make our way around. The page is called "The long drive".
