On August 24th our world was turned upside down when my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 terminal brain cancer. At this time, as you can imagine, life has become complicated and very hard to manage. When cancer knocks on your door it throws your entire world into chaos and even the simple tasks as making school lunches and family dinners becomes nearly impossible. Between doctors appointments in Vancouver, work, school and daycare routines our family is stretched not only financially but emotionally as well.
Unfortunately we hve no medical benefits and all of Jack's disability, medical and other insurance benefits have not been approved to date leaving our income cut short by 65%.
As a mom I am now burning the candle at both ends working and trying to keep our house and two young boys alive and afloat which now has taken it's toll and we need some support, please.
