Hi All!
Our names are Tiffany and Caleb and we are excited to officially launch our website and fundraising efforts for The Greatest Wedding Ever Donated (G.W.E.D.) Project! We are a couple that lives with the reality of cystic fibrosis, a terminal genetic disease, and PTSD from childhood trauma, and have joined forces to host a charity fundraiser IN PLACE of our wedding.
The G.W.E.D. is a Gala and Benefit Concert event in partnership with CW Jane the Virgin Actor, Justin Baldoni, and his incredible team at The Wayfarer Entertainment and The Wayfarer Foundation. The goal of the one-night event is to raise $500,000 for: Global Genes , Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Think Together, To Write Love on Her Arms, and They Wayfarer Foundation , create awareness, and start important conversations about these special cause areas personal to us.
**We will contribute $30,000 to cover the majority of costs for the event, so that each dollar raised has a greater impact on the nonprofits.**
The specially curated Gala and Benefit Concert will take place on May 5, 2018 at The Wiltern Theater - Los Angeles in conjunction with The Foundation. We are fortunate enough to have The Wayfarer Foundation as our fiscal sponsor which allows us to operate under their 501(c)3. Thus, all of your charitable giving will be tax deductable and gratefully received by them. At the end of this project, The Wayfarer Foundation will write grants to each of the chosen nonprofits above.
