'La Vie Magnifique De Charlie' is a Quirky, Funky and Endearing feature length film that explores the dynamic interpersonal relationships between Black Women.
Written by Bobby Huntley and Nikki Wade and Executive Produced by Davenstar1Entertainment .
The project was filmed over seven weekends in Atlanta with NO to very very LOW budget. Since releasing the trailer in February, the buzz has grown which has culminated with recognition from Shadow and Act and even Ebony Magazine.
Since our premiere this past June, we've screened at 3 festivals and won two of them. Many other screening and festivals are lined up and are very interested in the film . NOW things are getting crucial. We need your help again to get us to the next level and help get this film the recognition and shine it deserves!
as you can imagine- everything adds up! The marketing and promotion of it all. Purchasing ads on Facebook and instagram. Posters and flyer printing. Photoshoots and video coverage of screenings. Film festival submission fees ( range anywhere from $30-$100+ a pop!).
Our big push of phase one of promo ends with major screenings in New York and Los Angeles later this year! ( info coming soon!)
