The Safe-Quilt Ministry

GraceCrossing Community Church is raising money to  make Safe-Quilts for orphans & foster children in our local tri-county area in Pennsylvania. These fleece blankets are made by members of our congregation and then given to Bethany Christian Services to distribute every December to the neediest kids. They serve as warm comfort at a time when these children have no home and few (if any) possessions. For the past 8 years, we have been making these blankets financed by local donations. Sadly, this year the number of kids in need of Safe-Quilts has doubled to over 200, in part due to more being orphaned by the ravages of war. The material for each quilt costs approximately $20. We want to make sure that all the children who need one get a Safe-Quilt this year. We can't thank you enough for your support of our project!
