-The Road Home from Standing Rock-

My name is Evan Duke. 

I'm an organizer and activist living in Seattle Wa. 

I stood as a veteran during the last days of the Standing Rock eviction to protect the water and support the grandmothers who stood for their treaty rights. 

This last year has been dedicated to protests and actions all over the U.S. I've literally driven across it and back twice, up and down the west coast twice, and three trips to Standing Rock. Journey for Bernie, DNC, Occupy Inauguration, Standing Rock, Climate Revolution L.A. and Vegas, #BlockTheBunker, #DefundDAPL.

I was arrested on Feb 23rd with Oglala grandmother Regina Brave during her treaty stand at Oceti Resistance Camp. I was charged with obstructing a government process and have to return March 22nd to Mandan ND to face charges. I will be pleading not guilty. 

During the chaos of the day I lost my cell phone in the fields of Oceti. 

I am preparing for the last stand at Sacred Stone camp which could be in the next few days unless LaDonna comes to an accord with BIA. 

Afterwards I'll be heading home to Seattle to get back to work, save some money, and raise funds. 

My next misssions will be organizing labor strike actions, helping the divestment movement, and  working on a support tour of the new pipeline resistance camps rising up all over the nation.

All donations to this gofundme will be used for my travel home to seattle, a new cell phone, and paying my rent for the month of march.
