My name is Matt Rogers and I am creating a feature length documentary film called, "The Pursuit of Dreams". We want to look at the subject of God giving men and women a dream for their future, and how they walk the journey towards seeing that dream fulfilled.
We are going to be interviewing and following different men and women who have had various levels of fulfillment of their dreams. We want to learn from their wisdom and experience gained from their journey. The variety of dreams featured in our film are ranging from dreaming to see entire continents saved, to becoming a doctor, to creating hand crafted acoustic guitars, to attempting a world record attempt and to feeding the poor. It will be an exploration into the heart of God and how He dreams for this world and for us as individuals.
The money raised through this campaign will enable us to....
1.) Pay for all the equipment that we need to film. (The cost of hiring for the length of time that we will film is roughly the same if not more than purchasing).
2.) Pay for all of the travel and expenses as we go to South Africa, Mozambique, Middle East, Europe and the USA.
3.) Pay for us to actually give the time required to create this film. It is our plan to be able to give 12 months full time to the production of this film.
I believe that this film will inspire and motivate people to begin to dream the dreams of God. I believe that it could be a catalyst in many people's lives to seeing them take bigger and bolder steps to seeing their dreams become a reality. I believe that the tools gained through watching this film will become valuable for people who are walking towards seeing their dreams fulfilled.
