I am writing on behalf of Ben Powell and family.  Last Monday, June 3rd, Ben was involved in an auto accident. Ben and his son were hit (driver side) by a car running a red light at an intersection. Fortunately, Lil Ben did not sustain any significant physical injuries; however, his dad was less fortunate. After spending 3 days in the hospital, Big Ben woke up to the news his father was being rushed to the hospital. This seemed to be a child’s worst nightmare. Upon arrival Ben was met by a Chaplain and told his father had passed away.  Ben has lost his mother, sister, and now father. This week has been beyond devastating and trying to plan a funeral, while physically and emotionally broken, has been painful to watch. I decided to create a GoFundMe page in hopes to Alleviating the financial stress, which I can see growing within him, as he is having to make the decisions on his father's funeral unexpectedly. Friends and co-workers have asked if there is anything they can do and this is an opportunity to help in a way like no other.  I am only adding the cost of the funeral so anything to put a dent in it would be greatly appreciated beyond measure.
