Help our dream come true
With some friends we are creating an animal charity organization that will be called THE PAW PORTAL with the objective of facilitating charity.
Within the surroundings of Barcelona there are too many animals suffering in shelters. Spain is one of the top countries in Europe when it comes to abandonment of animals and every 5th minute a shelter receives a new animal that sums up to more than 138.00 abandoned animals every year.
Most shelters are overwhelmed with their day to day work, a lot of animals that comes in are old, sick and sometimes with behavioral problems. The shelters are 100% relaying on volunteer work and on donations. It can be hard for them to have time to drive campaigns to achieve money or new volunteers when all their time is consumed by caring for the animals.
The situation is desperate, money is never enough, dogs and cats are suffering from poor hygienic conditions, lack of medical care and bad nutrition (all food is donated so they eat what they get)
We want to change this!
THE PAW PORTAL will be a platform where we help different shelters to find volunteers, adoption and to collect funds.
We know all of you would love to help but sometimes it can be hard to know where and when to donate or volunteer so that’s where we come in, we bring charity to you!
To create this organization we need funds, it cost to register, to build up the portal, network etc. That is why we ask you to help; every cent counts and all funds collected will be used to create THE PAW PORTAL with the objective of helping as many animals as possible. Any money that will not be needed to create the organization will be used for animals in need.
