The Mx. Nobody Pageant 2018

The Mx. Nobody Pageant aims to be the most diverse performance showcase in Brooklyn, welcoming all participants without restriction and celebrating the most daring and creative rising stars in the Brookyn nightlife scene.
Since we do not charge a cover for the audience and do not make enough from the bar to recoup the costs of putting on this show, we are reaching out to you for whatever support you are able to give.
Each night of the pageant will have three guest judges and one photographer, each of whom will be paid $50 (and many of whom are reducing their typical booking fee as a favor to us). That totals $200 per night, or $1,000 for the five nights of the pageant. This fund is only to ensure that we can pay the people who work the event. Other costs (like promotion, supplies, costumes, transportation, etc) will come out of our own pockets, and we will not pay ourselves out of the money collected here.
If we exceed the $1,000 goal, the excess money will be donated to RAICES (https://www.raicestexas.org/), as will any money we make from the September 13th finale.
The Mx. Nobody Pageant means the world to us, and we feel incredibly strongly about the importance of creating safe spaces for unique performers to flourish. Your donation helps this event to thrive, allows us to continue sharing with our audience free of charge, and ensures that the people who work at the event receive a small compensation for their efforts.
