Historical Flooding at the Mission

 
The Mississippi County Union Mission has been immensely impacted by last week’s thunderstorms. For the first time in it's history, The Mission flooded! The morning of Friday, August 20th, up to six inches of water made its way in the kitchen, hallways, and dormitories. The church sanctuary along with the entire premise was inundated with water. There is an 80% loss of content in the warehouses. The warehouses stored the furniture that is used to help burn out victims in the community.  Although The Mission does have flood insurance on the main building, the warehouses are not covered.  The insurance deductible might exceed $10,000.
 
We are in desperate need of assistance from the community to keep our doors open during this perilous time. 

Funds donated will go towards the deductible and to cover the loss not covered by insurance.
