#The mini_Great flood

My story(Bear with me I’m new to this) 

I’m not sure where to start
I escaped to UK when war torn my town apart 
I came in under a lorry, wasn’t waiting for a plane to depart 
we don’t have that luxury, I guess that’s because we are not so smart 
or is it because of people like Trump who is no more than a spare part 
If that was the case he wouldn’t be stocked neither in Tesco nor in Walmart 
Scotland doesn’t like him at all, they think he is a little tart
I don’t know why men are still so chauvinistic, have they not seen Brienne of Tarth
I hope we raise enough money to fill a golf cart
I would encourage everyone to give with an open heart 
You don’t have be an artist to take part charity in itself is a form art  


I have always wanted to help people in any way I can, but I always thought I had to be there personally. However GoFundme gives me the opportunity to do this without being there. I wanted to travel to India or Afghanistan when I graduated to help people with cleft lip and palate as most people don’t have the means to have private treatment. Unfortunately being a refugee from Afghanistan I did not yet have a passport and couldn’t travel as I would’ve liked. I see people all of the world raising money for different causes, appealing to different religious groups or communities. I’m not reaching out to you because of a particular religious community or a particaular group of people  but rather to help another human being in another part of our home that we call the earth.  

I’m looking to raise £2000 but in reality even £100000 wouldn’t even touch the surface of the problem. Schools and hospitals have been destroyed and already desperate families with kids have been displaced. In aftermath any flooding there is significant risk to everyone especially the children. Lack of clean water and mediation and also absence of a stable government to help makes everything difficult. Also most of the foreign aid never makes to people but rather are distributed between war lords and greedy individuals who would rather spend it on their luxuries lifestyles then helping a child in need. 

The immediate plan is to raise some money for clean water and medical emergencies but if enough money is raised it will be to rebuild some of the schools as waiting for government to do so will surely lead to addiction or other social issues as it will take 10 years to deliver a blackboard and chalk. 

Please help as much as you can or as little as you can. Pennies will make the pounds and hopefully if enough of us come together it will make the 1000s.
