The Millick-Kane Family Needs Your Help!

Hello friends! The Millick-Kane family celebrated Leland’s 2nd birthday this month! He loves getting around the house exploring - his favorite hobby is knocking over the cat’s food. He’s walking like a champ with his walker, pushing buttons all by himself, dancing to his Linkamals, petting Sprinkles the cat, and saying “mama”. He’s come so far!

His most recent doctors visits included prescriptions for eyeglasses, ankle braces and food supplies. Those will cost the family $100, $500 and $200 respectively. Leland has to see a doctor every six months to ensure his brain isn’t putting too much pressure on the back of his eyes, but right now everything looks great and the glasses will help with his farsighted vision (avoiding neurosurgery for now). The ankle braces will help support his ankles so they don’t bend back when he uses his walker. The feeding supplies are necessary as he starts on food blends.
