The Lyme Warrior

My name is Diane and I have Chronic Lyme Disease.  If you know anything about Lyme disease you know that it can be a very debilitating disease, both physically and mentally. After being sick for about 2 years I finally received proper diagnoses. I felt hopeful when my doctor came into the office with my test results and told me that I tested positive for Lyme disease. What I did not know at the time is that this disease is very stubborn to get rid of. When I found this out, my hopefulness quickly diminished. I knew that I had a long road before me before I saw any improvement. Anyone who has Lyme knows that insurance does not cover most of the treatments or tests that you need in order to properly diagnose/treat Lyme disease. It has been 4 months now and I have already tried several treatments that have failed me and left me feeling even more hopeless. I recently started going to a new clinic that specializes in Lyme disease and they have been nothing but amazing. I have the utmost faith that they will be able to finally get me to remission. Sadly, further testing and treatments will not be cheap. One treatment costs around $500.00 and I will need several. In making this GoFundMe page I hope to raise enough money to pay for current treatments and any medicals bills that have accumulated over these past 2 years. This will take a lot of financial stress off my plate, and get me the proper treatment so I am no longer in mental and physical pain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. <3
