The Loss Of A Loved One

Like many of you, life has thrown me and many an incredible challenge that has me lost, scared and unbelievably lonely & sad...I truly don't know what to do aside from trying to be strong, even when writing you this request. I am a 26 yr. old widower with a 1yr old baby as a result of my husband being taken from me In a heinous crime. He was violently murdered yesterday March 15th 2017 & I still have no answers as to why. We were newly married and our 1yr. Anniversary would have been tomorrow March 17th. Derrick Ubiles was the man I wanted to spend my life growing old with but I'll never get that chance and his daughter will only know her father through our memories & stories. How do I explain to his daughter that daddy will never be with us anymore I need any help you're willing to offer to help me get through his funeral and for the road ahead. From his aunt crystal : Life is not promised to anyone. Tragedy is unavoidable. My nephew was tragically taken from us 3/15/17! Gunned down on the street in broad daylight. He was a son, husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew who did not deserve to be taken suddenly from his family. We are thankful for all the prayers and loving words. No one is prepared for this mentally and this has posed a finacial strain on our family and we are in need of any monetary help that you are able to donate! We are not asking for an amount to lay him to rest lavishly , just anything that will enable us at this time to give Derrick a proper home going.
