Jenny and Carl got married on October 11, 2003. They have 2 beautiful children Casidy 14 and Maeson 5. Jenny is a very loving, caring Mother and wife. This past winter Jenny has been having health problems. She started feeling tired all the time, no appetite and depressed. So she went to the doctor and got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She also got diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease. Then the doctor found she also had a goiter. She started medication but didn't seem to work. Then with the goiter she was having a hard time swallowing. So she began getting weaker because she couldn't eat. Only softer foods. In June she went to the emergency room for bad abdominal pains. They did a CT scan and found a mass on her aorta. The following week she had a biopsy and is was not cancer so the doctor wanted another biopsy so they can figure out what it is. There is still no answers what this is. On Friday July 12 Jenny had a surgery to put a stent in her kidney because her kidneys were backing up. Later that day Jenny was throwing up and not feeling good. Carl found her on the bathroom floor and she said she was sweating but when Carl felt her she was cold. He immediately called 911. When the ambulance arrived she was having convulsions. Her heart stopped and the ambulance revived her. She then had to go through emergency heart surgery. She was not having blood flow to the left side of her heart. They put a tube in her leg to see if the blood would start flowing. She was put on life support to help her heart beat. That night she was flown by helicopter to Milwaukee Hospital. During the night she had 2 surgeries. They put the tube from her leg to her heart. There still was not no blood flow. The machines are helping her heart beat and breathe. The following morning she yet went into another surgery. They opened her chest up and found fluid. They are keeping her chest open until Monday. Good news the doctors woke her up on Saturday to make sure there is no brain damage. She opened her and looked at Carl and Casidy and was able to move her arms and toes. Then the doctors had to sedate her again so her body doesn't get too stressed. On today Sunday the doctors woke her again and all was good she opened her eyes and tried to talk and she was trying to move. On tomorrow a specialist is coming in. If her heart doesn't beat on its own she may have to have a heart transplant. Carl wants to be with his wife as much as possible. He can take up to 6 weeks of paid leave. If anyone can help with this family would be greatly appreciated. This will help with medical expenses. Please keep praying. I will keep you updated.
