MY SON, JACOB CROCKER WAS DIAGNOSED WITH RSD/CRPS AFTER A SIMPLE WALK ON THE BEACH. A PIECE OF WOOD FROM THE BOARDWALK STUCK INTO HIS FOOT CAUSING THIS TERRIBLE REACTION THAT HAS AFFECTED EVERY PART OF HIS LIFE.
Guy's, he's a 17 year old boy that was an active sports fanatic. He was on every team, for every sport, looking for a scholarship to go to college. Instead he wasn't able to finish high school with his peers. He spent the last year lying in bed in pain, his only movement with crutches.
You might have seen this condition recently highlighted in an ESPN story about Football Player Nazair Jones. He was completely paralyzed from the waist down and in excruciating pain for 5 years. Through treatment he has regained use of his legs and though still in pain, is fully functioning.
There are only 6 facilities in the country that help with the education and treatment of this terrible life threatening condition, costing upwards of tens of thousands of dollars .. and while insurance would pay for pain pills they denied our request for help with treatment. But you can help us get him there!
We are hosting a benefit on his behalf on June 24th at Randall Baptist Church Pavillion and Youth Center from 2-6pm.
There will be a large amount basket raffles, meat auction, food and fun for all! Please support us by coming, selling tickets, donating a basket, helping the day of the event and/or donating here!
