My name is Anna Waller, and I am fourteen years old. I am hoping to raise money to help my father.
He is a VMI alum, and a Special Forces veteran. He has faced threats before but none so grievous. He was diagnosed with stage four cancer in 2016. He has been through multiple rounds of radiation and several rounds of chemotherapy, and even a couple trials of immunotherapy. Now in 2018, it is a miracle that he is still here today. His health has recently taken a nose dive and he has been in and out of the ICU this past month. Despite these grave circumstances, there may be hope. The doctors charged with caring for my father have suggested a chemotherapeutic treatment that might just buy us some time.
However, with great hope comes great medical bills. We would really appreciate donations so that we can combat the mounting medical bills, and so that we can bring him home soon. We are going to have to make certain modifications to our home in order to continue his care among family.
This is why we need your help. We have been fighting this battle for two years, and I don’t want to see my dad lose. I don’t want my brother and sister to witness him lose, my brother is five and my sister is eight and they are way too young to experience that kind of heartbreak. Please help us combat this monstrosity that is trying to kill my father.
