The fight for Manaia Husband

Manaia Kahlani Aorangi Husband born 1.3.2017, 7lbs 7oz, 20" long, after almost 3 days of labor, and a very rough start to life was lifelined and admitted to Community Hospital North NICU in Indianapolis. Manaia was born with pulmonary hypertension and Jaundice. Even though she was a full term size baby, her internal organs were 5 weeks premature. I was administered Betamethyzone and Celestone 24 hours before she was born to coat her lungs and organs so she would be ready for the world when she took her first breath. As parents, this is a terrifying ordeal and a crazy rollercoaster of emotions. We're trying to hold it together as a family, but we're faced with some medical bills insurance isn't willing to pay, transporation costs (hospital is over an hour from where we live), food, accommodation, child care for our two oldest who arent allowed to even visit NICU and of course apparatus baby monitors which we must have before she goes home. The stress of bills, rent and normal daily life is beginning to pile up as we're torn between home, hospital, the kids school, Marqus in class at Ball State and work. If you could find it in you're heart to see the struggles we're faced with please help. I have never been the one to ask for a handout but slowly as we prioritize what needs immediate attention and what can wait, we're falling behind in bills and realizing that we must take action before it snowballs out of control. Love and light. Please share our story. Every cent, matters and will go along way in trying to bring our little one home. -Chantelle, Marqus, Khia, Nicolai & Manaia Husband
