The family of David Charles Lamont

After gaining permission from the family, I have set up this page to raise money towards the family and funeral of 'David Charles Lamont' know by most as 'Monty' 

David was know as a father, a grandfather, a brother, a comedian, a performer, a postie and a friend to so many!

Sadly, on the evening of October 23rd 2016 Davids' family were informed that he had been found by a member of the public in a quiet and secluded area of Corley Rocks in Coventry. Initial findings pointed to the conclusion which led police to release a statement that a man had been found in which they believed he had been involved in a RTC (Road traffic Collision) with a vehicle and succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the sceen by ambulance crews who atteneded.

Recent events have changed and though the death is still being related to the initial RTC new information has come to light. After a plea from the family and a lead coming through, a 53 year old male from Coventry was named and charged with the murder of David (I will not name him here, but you can find it via google)

This page had been created to help the family during this awful time and towards costs of the funeral for a much loved man.

At this time no cause of death has been released to the family and neither has a date on which the body is to be released.

Anything you may give is greatly recieved by the family and I know they'd send their thanks.

At this moment the family wish to remain anonymous to public and have requested their privacy due to the nature of the case and a lot of information being sensitive. 

All updates will be published here after they have been publicly released by Warwickshire Police.
