On May 10th, a tremendous and unfortunate loss effected the Delort Family. Jeff Delort passed away. Those who knew Jeff were very blessed to have them in their lives. Jaden attends St Edward High School in Elgin and Jaycie is a student at Sleepy Hollow Elementary. As the entire family grieves, they will need lots of support. Whether it be meals, rides for the kids, gifts cards, donations or a quick text. Jeff's priority was his family. The Delort Family is mourning the loss of Jeff; loving husband of Christie and father to Jaden, Jaycie and their angel, Carlie. He will be missed by his family, friends and many co-workers.
Jeff started out his career in the airlines with American Eagle, and most recently flew with American Airlines based out of O'Hare. His fellow crew members enjoyed working with him for both his professionalism, as well as, his sense of humor.
Jeff had many interests. He loved both watching and playing sports, especially hockey. Jeff was great at cooking and enjoyed all kinds of food. There was no hot sauce to hot for Jeff! He was a former cub scout leader and an active member at St. Catherine of Siena in West Dundee. Jeff liked all kinds of music. He frequently would call out the name of a song or artist before anyone else could.
Jeff could always be counted on as a son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and neighbor. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
