The Colbys need your Help
The Colbys need your help.
The road has been long and it has been a bumpy one for the Colby family. As most people know, Joe was diagnosed with Glioblastoma 29 months ago. A diagnosis he has faced with unbelievable strength, courage, and a determination that this disease couldn’t bring him down, especially not with his tenacious wife fighting alongside him. Every appointment she is there armed with more knowledge than some of the nurses. Saving his life, advocating for him and being his constant pillar. Their son Joey has become wise beyond his years. A true hero to stay brave in all they are facing.
It’s not easy and one can only imagine what they must be feeling. Not being home, not being able to work, not being able to provide for your family are just some of the burdens one must face in this situation. I have wondered what can I do? How can I help. Is there a way I can ease their hardship?
The Colbys are they type of family that would do anything for anyone. I can recall when I was moving a few years ago Joe coming to help even though he had just had surgery. Without a doubt I am sure you can think of a time Joe may have been at your door helping. This is our opportunity to ease some of strain for this family. We can’t fix what they are going through but we can relieve some of the anxiety. You are never strong enough you don't need help.
