I’ve started a scholarship to honor my brother.... a son, brother, friend, artist, and mentor to many. He was a Associate Professor at Burrough of Manhattan Community College in NYC, before losing his life to cancer last year at the age of 53.
Teaching at BMCC was my brother’s dream job!!! Charles was a dedicated art professor who loved and respected his students and colleagues. He was passionate about life, art, his family and friends, and his Harley-Davidson! His life was lived with intense love, humor, and truth.
Fifty-three (53%) percent of the students who attend BMCC come from families making less than $20,000/year, so the need is great! Please join me in keeping my brother’s legacy alive at BMCC by providing students with the education they want, need, and deserve. The interest on this endowed scholarship will significantly help a student annually as a permanent scholarship fund.
